Throughout the week you’ll have exclusive access to sessions let by content experts in subject areas like design, team building, makerspace skills, coding, business research, lean canvas, pitch practice, measuring social impact, and more!

Office Hours

To complement group sessions in the workshops, teams will be able to sign up for one-on-one sessions with expertise in business, computer science, social impact, data research, and more to work through specific issues to accelerate their project.

Research Databases

In addition to in-person resources, you will also gain access to a library of online resources to help you work towards your goals on your time. There will also be recordings of live workshops available for your review so you won’t miss a thing!

Carolina Challenge Lab

A 6-week workshop series starting immediately after the Makeathon that will help you develop your business model and perfect your pitch.

Innovate Showcase

Pitch your product to investors on April 11th for a chance at additional funding for your project, up to $5k!

ACC Inventure Competition

(Undergrads only)
One team will be selected to represent UNC at this regional competition on April 16th and 17th and compete for $15k!

Summer Fellowship

Want to get paid to work on your business all summer? And have resources and coaching geared at your venture? We will choose a team out of the Lab to participate in the Launch Accelerator all summer. Up to $5k scholarship funding!
