Makeathon Handbook

Everything you need to know for Makeathon in one place (or where to find it)!  This handbook details the structure, scoring, resources, judging rubric, and other materials essential for the Makeathon.

 Video Recordings of all Workshops

Did you miss an important workshop due to class or other conflicts? Or need to refer back to something important the professor or workshop leader said? Don’t sweat. We have you covered. Video recordings will be posted on our YouTube channel within 24 hours of the session.

Powerpoint Presentations and Documents

This folder includes all powerpoints and workshop handouts. We will also post all kickoff materials including the Makeathon Handbook here after the Kickoff.

Office Hours

You can view all office hours and descriptions under the calendar on the schedule tab. To sign up, please visit the link in each calendar description (they are different links for each person). Please note, we have many participants in the Makeathon and mentors are volunteering their time so be respectful. Please be on time and cancel on the link above if you can no longer make your office hours so that others can claim them.

Text Reminders

If you would like to Opt-in for text reminders and update’s on Makeathon events throughout the week, please enter your cell phone number at this link.  You can sign up for as many or as few of the text reminders as you desire. 

Workshop Surveys

After each workshop, please remember to fill out this survey! This will ensure the success of the Makeathon for years to come! Additionally, for each survey you complete you will be entered into a raffle to win $100 gift card at our final event!

Intention to Compete Form

This form needs to be submitted by 3 PM on Friday, February 15th if you intend to compete at the final event on the 16th. Please designate one teammate to fill this out. If you do not submit by this time, you will not qualify to compete or for the prizes. The form will ask for a link to your lean canvas google excel and a photo or link to your prototype. This will be shared with the judges on Friday, however, you can still work on your prototype and presentation up until you present on Saturday.
